Answer: All baked goods are shipped fresh, and with a maximum of 2 days in transit we can ensure your baked goods will arrive that way.
3) When does Sally's Bakery ship out its orders?
Answer: We ship our orders out on Tuesdays and Wednesdays ONLY (Thursdays too if one day in transit). This is to ensure your products arrive to you by Friday and don't lose any freshness over the weekend.
Please note: Sally's Bakery does not put signature requirements on shipped packages. When recipients are not home to accept a package, UPS leaves it at the driver's discretion. Please make every effort to be available for your shipment. If UPS chooses not to deliver because the customer is not at home or because an invalid address has been given by the customer, we cannot be responsible.
4) Is there a minimum shipping order for customers?
Answer: No, but keep in mind that that it's more economical to place a few larger orders instead of several smaller orders (assuming you have the freezer space).
Food Allergy FAQ's
1) What precautions does Sally's Bakery take to avoid the possibility of cross contamination?
Answer: We take our food handling and preparation very seriously. While it's certainly easier to prevent cross contamination being a 100% dedicated gluten free facility, we take every step to ensure that our products are prepared properly because your health and safety is our number one priority. We call all of our suppliers before using a product and then on a quarterly basis thereafter to ensure no ingredient changes could lead to cross contamination. We also verify that our non-food supplies are chemically free of any allergens (for instance, some paper towels contain soy). Unlike many of the commercial gluten free products on the market, we also refrain from using soy in any of our products (with the exception of our chocolate chip cookies, which contain soy lecithin).
2) How can I tell which Sally's Bakery products contain an allergen?
Answer: We take every step to ensure that you know which ingredients are in each of our products. On each product page, we list out all of our verified gluten free ingredients and clearly label allergen information.
